<p>Don't get me wrong, NYU is a great school, but with stats like these, you could get into an Ivy. Stern and Tisch are above-par, and competitive with the ivy league but not as much CAS. I think you should even shoot for Columbia (if you wanted to go to school in the City). CAS is a great school, but just not AS great as Columbia or Yale or something.</p>

<p>As for Columbia..the village and morningside heights are two very different places. Maybe the op simply likes nyu better and doesn't care about us news rankings</p>

<p>Also cas philosophy and math are highly regarded</p>

<p>Steinhardts education programs are some of the best.</p>

<p>If they don't accept you, I don't know what they're looking for. Your stats are fabulous and the fact that you are heavily involved in drama and theater is a definite plus for a school like NYU.</p>

<p>well columbia is too small for me + i didn't like morningside heights + i want to go to school in nyc.</p>
