Area:
Importance of cost: Extremely important

any other which you all suggest????

thanks in advance!

Because you are an international applying for financial aid, I would say your chances are slim. Financial aid is very limited for international students.

57 percent

how is your weighted higher than unweighted? anyways, your chances are little above avg. for an int. applicant. I'd say about 35%

How many years were you in those sports? Consistency is important. Remember though, it really is MUCH harder for an international student to get in that requires financial aid. However, your credentials are very impressive. I do not give out percentages, but I believe you have a good shot.

^ I am 99% sure that cornell is need blind for Intl students, but they only give out like, 12 scholarships per year to intls, there is NO need based aid for intl students. BUT, competition is still EXTREMELY heavy from east asian countries and india. You are from india, you will probably not get in because literally, there are probably 500 kids applying to the few spots open for indian intls.

count on your essays

ok then what are my chances for the other ivy league schools ..............and remember i am still in grade xi

roman numerals?

i mean in grade 11

Which college within Cornell are you applying?

faculty of science

what the heck is faculty of science? and I don't think Cornell is need blind for int'ls

look i intend to graduate with physics,so the university which will suit me is my choice

no need to be rude..

if you want to major in physics, you'll have two options: physics in CAS and AEP in engineering. i suggest you do a little more research before you apply.

you sound as if you're planning on applying to ALL of the ivy leagues. so i'd recommend you do a little more research, period, when it comes to applying to college.

cornell is needblind. because they dont have a tickbox on the common app (online) for financial aid, meaning they dont care whether you apply for aid or not.

then what do u think about my chances of getting admitted

it depends on what you are applying to? which cornell college? engineering? CAS? if u havent done research on cornell and expect to let your credentials do the talking, then we cant give u an estimate. each colleges look for their own specific criteria. and dont be cocky, it will bite u back in the ***.
