Welcome to College Confidential! As a new member, you should read this thread from an MIT Admissions Director about chance threads on CC. Everything in the post applies to all the colleges on your list!
http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/massachusetts-institute-technology/939227-reminder-no-one-not-even-me-can-give-you-an-accurate-chance-at-mit-p1.html

You’d have to go through the Common Data Set for each school on your list (google it) , but about 85% of accepted students at Harvard, Yale and Columbia were in the top 10% of their high class. So, if a student is somewhere in the top 10% to 15%, they need to realize that their chances are longer than most. That’s true even if your HS does not rank, as colleges can simply put all applicants from the same high school in GPA rank order and make a guess as to the pecking order. By all means apply if those schools interest you, but have plenty of target and safety schools on your list. Also, realize that NYU does not have a large endowment so most students do not receive financial aid. I’m not sure if that is a factor for your family, but you should run the Net Price Calculator (NPC) on all the schools on your list to see if your family can afford the school prior to submitting applications. Best of luck to you!

@jellybean97 Once you have all your test scores, come back and people can give you their opinions. For now, work at improving your GPA, prepare for the tests, and continue to pursue your ECs.

Is your swimming talent at the top state level so you might be recruitable? Are you interested in swimming at the NCAA Division I college level?
