Please Chance Me for Ivies/Privates (I'll chance back if u give link)

Hi Everybody!

I have applied to pretty much all the Ivy Leagues except Georgetown and Cornell.

I have also applied to Wellesley and John Hopkins University and UC Berkeley and UCLA.

Since I am ELC, I know I have a 60-70% chance at Berkeley and UCLA.
However, I really don't know my chances for privates. Here are MY STATS

GPA: 3.889 unweighted (not including senior year)
AP Courseload: 1 freshman yr, 2 sophomore, 4 junior, 3 senior year
Honors: 3 freshman yr, 3 sophomore year

I have finished all AP maths and AP sciences by end of 11th grade and am currently in Anatomy.

SAT 1: 2290 (790 CR, 760 Math, 740 Writing)
Sat 2: 780 Bio, 790 Chem, 800 Math, 780 History

ACT: 34

AP exams: 8 5s, 1 4 (in calculus BC)

Awards: National Merit Semi-Finalist, National AP scholar, NCS Scholar Athlete, district sports awards, debate awards, community service award

Service Hours: 500+

Extra-curricular: Varsity Captain for 1 sport (ranked #1, won district all-league 3 years)
Varsity Debate (won local competitions, went to State 2 years in a row)
President of 2 clubs (one science-related, one activism related)
Jump-starting my own non-profit (based on school club)
Captain for a team event
Involved in PTSA (officer) and Site Council (officer)
Red Cross involvement
Journalism Editor

Outside of school:

Captain for Fundraising Initiative
Volunteer in local Hospital
Involved with District Youth leadership program

I would say my recommendations were pretty decent, essays were good-great.

School rank is also 26 out of around 500. The rank is unweighted.

Wellesly, JHU, UCB, UCLA- match/in

Cornell, Penn-match

Other Ivies- low reach
HYP- reach

thanks for chance-ing. any particular reason u thought i would b a low reach vs. match. vs. high reach

By the way, Georgetown’s not an Ivy League.

I’d say that your chances at some of the ivy schools might be a mid to low reach, scratch that, low reach. Your SAT/ACT scores are quite good, ideal GPA, and excellent ECs. I have no doubts that you will make it to one of the ivy schools, and should definitely make it to the non ivy ones. Best of luck!

Wellesly, JHU, UCB, UCLA- Match, however John’s Hopkins is always iffy

Cornell, Penn- High Match/Low Reach

HYP- reach

Cant say much about the chances because am not very insightful on the case, but your application seems very solid. GPA and SAT Score are pretty much up there for the Ivy Leagues. EC is what makes a difference in these Ivy Leagues i think and you have plenty of that. I’d guess Cornell and Penn to be a big match. Good luck!

Wellesly- Match
JHU- Match
UCB-Match
UCLA-Match
Cornell-Low reach
Penn- Low reach
Georgetown- Match

Good luck!

Wellesly- ?
