any comments on the atmosphere at McGill? How are the students, teachers and the city as a whole? even safety wise</p>

<p>You’ll get in, maybe you can/should even apply to higher up schools… reach schools? Your stats are pretty high up there.</p>

<p>McGill ONLY considers the average of your top five courses in senior year, including english. NOTHING ELSE. They will not look at any other marks, letters of recommendation, extracurriculars, etc. for admission. Possibly for scholarships, but nothing else. If you have approximately a 93% average in those top five courses, you’re into any of McGill’s faculties.</p>

<p>Assuming Cupid22 wants to study in Canada, there are none; McGill and U of T are it.</p>

<p>@Hopeful2016: The OP is coming out of an American high school. So he will be evaluated as an American: Grades 10,11 and 12 and SAT scores.</p>

<p>Which is better for Engineering McGill or U of T??
I want to probably consider Electrical, Civil or Computer Science…</p>

<p>Uoft is ranked the highest but dont base you decision on that. Both have good engineering programs. I go to uoft and thus far im really enjoying it. Both cities are fun but montreal has a better social scene IMO. </p>

<p>This is true of most arts programs but not engineering. Waterloo is a very good engineering school and they have one of the best comp sci and electrical engineering programs in the country so check them out as well. (warning: there campus is extremely ugly and is full of waterloosers)</p>
