You have very good chances at purdue with your stats. You just missed the deadline for UIUC, coud’ve been a good choice for aerospace. Texas A and M i don’t know. the others are a bit tougher.

You can apply at Penn State and Colorado boulder for a safeties i would say, if you are full pay.

I’m also applying for aerospace  good luck

You will get into Purdue for sure. Several of my friends with worse stats got into the engineering school. I do not know much about the other schools though.

Thanks a lot “meriks” and “formalllykaleb” for you advice. I am planning to apply to Penn State as well.
Best of luck “meriks”. Hope you get into a good college.

Could anyone suggest my chances ( as in my reaches for each college above) and suggest any further colleges that are good in Aerospace or Computer Engineering but a safe reach for my scores and stats.
I am happy to chance back.

Sure thing, dude

Bump

Could anyone suggest any college that would be safe or a reach for my scores and E.C’s and good for the major of my choice.

Penn State is a good college for engineering. And do apply to the honors college there.

You are almost sure to get in Purdue. Apply fast.

Try Midwest and southeast for schools.

Thanks “fbhsfhthj”, “seamon” and “aunt bea” I applied to purdue and I am planning to apply to Penn State.

Anymore insights would be really helpful.

Your SAT is a bit low but your GPA is excellent
Purdue - low match (you’ll definitely get in)
Texas A&M - Match
University of Texas Austin - low reach
UCLA/UCB - reach (UCLA and UCB look mainly at GPA, which isn’t a problem for you, but your low SAT might hinder your chance :frowning: . Also UCLA has a LOT of applicants so I can’t assure that you’ll get in )
Georgia Tech- mid-reach

Chance back?

Purdue: Match

Good luck!
Chance back? <a href=“Chance me for Vassar I'll chance back :) - Vassar College - College Confidential Forums”>Chance me for Vassar I'll chance back :) - Vassar College - College Confidential Forums;

One piece of advice, Aerospace Engineering for a non US citizen is a very very bad idea, I would suggest you do computer science or something first.
That being said,
Purdue: I’ve seen kids with lower stats get in, match for you
UCB, UCLA: Dream colleges tbh
A&M: High match/low reach
UT austin: High reach
