PLEASE chance me for SDSU as OOS student? (Low GPA, high SAT)

San Diego State University.

I lived in France from age 7-16, so my 9th and 10th year grades don't have Honors or APs since those don't exist in France. Therefore my GPA isn't high when it is cumulative (2.91).

But if you look at my Junior year of HS it is 4.1. And my senior grades are looking the same so far.

I'm out of state, since they don't ask for recommendations or much of any additional info i'm afraid they're going to reject me due to my low GPA + being OOS.

I took 2 AP exams last year: Psychology and French, and got 5 on both.
I am taking AP European History this year and ALL Honors classes.

SAT:
Critical Reading: 660
Writing: 720 (though I know they don't look at it, sadly)
Math: 520

M+CR = 1180

I'm the photographer and web designer of my school newspaper, I babysit and do french tutoring, I do community work for the Salvation Army and Habitat for Humanity. I play the piano and do portrait photography. I've been in clubs such as FBLA and the French Club and have also been a lead actress in drama class. (though I can't remember if SDSU had a part on their app where we talk about ECs much)

Anyone? Please?

I don’t know much about that school, but if they give your app a careful reading I think you have a good chance.

I got in there, but I put my weighted (3.68). Their application didn’t really ask for any personal statements or anything which worried me. Are you doing transfer? If you applied regular, you should’ve been emailed your admission/rejection in mid-December.

I applied regular decision, but I haven’t received an answer yet due to some info I needed to have sent in.
They’re giving me a hard time because they want my french transcripts, but France doesn’t issue transcripts…
