This is the current full list of schools that I'm applying to:

MIT

UCLA
UCSD
UCSB
UC Davis
USC
Cal Poly SLO

So what are my chances?

Whether or not colleges consider S. Americans ‘Hispanic’ for admissions purposes has been debated here. At many colleges it is Mexicans and Puerto Ricans who get that consideration.

Stanford and MIT will be very tough if you are not given that hook but you look strong for all of the others.

Hey I’m also hispanic and a link crew leader! and in my experience anyone with a strong background from a spanish speaking country is considered hispanic (I am a first gen. spaniard who is a national hispanic merit scholar etc.)
Your SATs are a little low for MIT and Stanford, as are your ECs but your grades are phenominal

Stanford: mid-high reach
MIT: high reach (my school sends 60+ to ivies every year and no one has ever gotten into MIT)
UC Berkeley: low reach
UCLA: low reach
UCSD: in
UCSB: safety
UC Davis: safety
USC: safety
Cal Poly SLO: I don’t know

My school transcript says I’m hispanic/latino which makes sense because south america is part of what is called latin america (which includes central america), so i would be latino and i speak spanish natively so yeah.

Bump please
