I also have an extreme passion for history that burns with the fire of a thousand suns and I have kind of been looking forward to college my entire life and Swarthmore is a super awesome school and also will give me a lot of money so I REALLY HOPE I GET IN PLEASE CHANCE ME AND GIVE ME ADVICE FOR THE APPLICATION I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER. :x

Your SAT scores are low and your ECs are extremely bland. How did you do on the US History subject test? Have you even taken subject tests? It doesn’t matter how much you want to get into Swarthmore, its about how much Swarthmore wants you.

I’ve taken the world history subject test and got 750, I wasn’t able to take any my junior year because I missed the date because of major health problems. I’m better now though and plan on making up for it this year and taking every possible subject test that I can. I’m also retaking the SAT this fall.
I know I’m pretty bad with EC’s, that’s always what makes me nervous, but with the national social studies honor society we actually do a lot. Last year we raised more money than any other club in the school to send care packages overseas to the military, and this year I plan on getting a lot of speakers to come to my high school to raise money for the KIVA foundation. There aren’t a lot of opportunities in my area except for sports, so I’m doing the best I can with what I’m offered.
