Did you take SAT II’s?

IMO, the only difficult challenge for you on your list is Georgetown. Your GPA may be a bit on the low side for Georgetown, but your test scores are impressive and EC’s solid and you are a legacy, so I would consider you a match (>55%).

I think you should consider adding a one or two bigger reaches to your list; perhaps Northwestern, Duke, U Chicago, Dartmouth, Brown (or even reach even higher to upper ivies)? These are pretty tough schools, but you shouldn’t be afraid to reach.

No sat 2s and thanks alot for the input. I never really thought about applying to those schools but ill look into it

I agree with the poster above, your stats are pretty good, especially for the schools that you are looking at. Georgetown might be the only school that you might have a little lower of a chance to get accepted to. You could probably start to look at some of more selective schools like the above poster suggested. Good luck!

Thanks ill definitely look into more sxhools. I kind of feel bad for now though…I’m actually a sophomore an those are just my projected stats. Very likely, but they haven’t happened yet. I thought it would sound dumb I I admitted that

^Never sounds dumb to admit the truth. Anyway, it worked I guess. I am not sure how useful the answers are, but I would not have chanced you if I knew you were a sophomore and these were projected stats.

Yeah sorry about that I feel like an jerk after you guys helped me out. My grades have been really poor lately and I was wondering if I would be able to get into the schools I wanted with a bad sophomore year. There’s not really many others places to get that kind of info

Very impressive stats, extremely well-rounded, and your SAT I is ridiculous!! It’s a shame your grades don’t match up - that would be your only weakness here, though if you’re on the upswing and explain briefly (and eloquently) why you had that pit-fall sophomore year, you should be fine. Make sure your essays are stellar and personal and passionate And I agree with hinsdale1, try for some reaches at possibly Duke, Princeton, Northwestern - you never know!

You have a really good chance at all of them.

UMiami- Match
Georgetown-Reach
UCSB-Match
