-SAT Scores
So I JUST found out my March 2013 SAT Scores.... I got a 1940 (R 630, M 620, W 710). This was my first try. I'm taking them again because I want to get a 2000 at the very least.

-Extracurricular activities
Elected as class council historian, national honor society, science national honor society, Model UN, varsity field hockey, varsity girls lacrosse manager (i'm playing next year - i just didn't have the time to do it this year)

I know it's really hard to get into UNC Chapel Hill from OOS. That's why I need you guys to tell me whether I even have a chance or not. Thank you everyone!!

UNC: Reach (you might want a 31+ on the ACT or 2100+ on the SAT)

Are you sure UMD isn’t an option?

I have similar grades and an SAT 20 points lower than you and I’m instate for UNC and I don’t feel good about my chances.

Sorry I made a typo - 1960 on the SAT. (I typed this up when I just woke up)

Ahhh the SAT will be the downfall in this scenario. If you can get 2100+, you have a good shot.

I think you have a great shot regardless of your “low” sat score. I think it is a match!
