<p>Hi
I am an international student- an Indian. I want to know my chances at unm. My friends told me for it but the most worrying matter is my SAT -it’s only 1640 (horrible!!) cr=490, m=630, w=520. By the way my gpa is 3.86 out of 4 and I usually get 2nd rank in my class.</p>

<p>You have a decent chance–unless you’re applying to the School of Engineering. Your SAT scores put you right around the 50th percentile in C and M for the general student population. (But your CR and M are both low for the SOE.)</p>

<p>However, your stats are not high enough to make you eligible for academic scholarships. </p>

<p>To apply to UNM, you will need to provide a TOEFL score. A score of 190 or higher is a pre-requisite for admission.</p>
