I think you would be accepted to any of these schools of you applied ED. The main problem I see with your application is lack of balance. Almost all of your ECs are academic, which isn’t a good thing. I don’t see any sports on here or anything. However I would still expect you to be accepted to all of these schools. I’m not saying they aren’t reaches. But you have a much better shot than most people.

I agree with picklechicken, great stats and overall resume, so you’re best chance is Duke ED (Which has a great Biomedical engineering program!) Good luck!

^Agreed. Your stats are stellar, but academic ECs are a dime a dozen (not to discredit all your hard work and dedication!)–what are other non-academic hobbies/ECs that you care about?

Hey all - I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, played piano for 13 years, saxophone for 7, and am now learning ukulele. In my free time, I enjoy longboarding downhill.

But that’s it - I don’t do sports, just Speech and Debate :</p>

bump 10char

^That’s stuff you should/could mention in the Activities section of the Common App.

Really? I thought that was more for leadership positions- I don’t see how having a blackbelt involves a position or includes any award

Solid chances. You applying to wharton?

@sup: nope! I’m applying to SEAS for BioE

Include everything that shows you to be a well-rounded individual on your app. It’ll help

Would that be under “activities” on my common app?
