The thing is, I haven’t done many extracurriculars or any computer science related clubs and summer programs because I’ve only recently decided that I want to major in computer science. Also, I get automatic acceptance into UT, but do they look at your essays for deciding majors? I dont think my college essays are extremely strong, but not bad either.
Anyway, if there’s anything else that I should share, please inform me!
You have have a very good You do not have auto acceptance to the College of Natural Science, so still try hard on your essays. They appreciate an interest in the major you are applying to but not everyone has a set idea their whole life, so they are understanding. There are only about 320 spots available for Computer Science every year, so it is competitive, but I think you would be at the top of the food chain. From what I’ve heard, UT doesn’t care so much about score but rather grades in your AP classes.
