essays: they turned out pretty excellent, very well written

let me know!

omgosh sorry guys i forgot about vanderbilt!

georgetown, stanford, brown, yale, berkley, williams are all really reach schools…sat scores are lower than their averages.

not sure about the others

SAT, subject tests and GPA are all quite far below the averages for schools like Georgetown, Berkeley, Yale, Williams, Brown and Stanford, so they are pretty big reaches. However, if you’ve got an amazing story to tell and stellar essays then you’ve got a shot. No harm in applying, but make sure you’ve got some safety schools as well!

-Georgetown University (EA) - High reach
-Stanford University - No
-Brown University - Nada
-Yale University (favorite) - Sorry, but zilch
-Berkley - for OOS, high reach
-NYU - pretty high reach
-Penn State University - perfect match
-USC - reach
-Williams College - Very high reach
-UNC - Mid-to-high reach
-Vanderbilt- Mid-to-high reach

I agree with Sci-Fry. Though you SATs are low (don’t worry my SAT II’s weren’t really good either), you can balance these other with stellar essays, ECs, and recommendations. You can only try, right? You may even surprise yourself ;-). http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/820519-chance-bu-nyu-umich-harvey-mudd-tufts-i-promise-chance-back-within-day.html</a></p>

Some constructive criticism:
Your GPA/SAT 1/ SAT 2 scores are not in the charts for most of these colleges. You need to aim lower for college. Stop applying to the top colleges…you need to apply broadly.

-Georgetown University (EA) - med reach
-Stanford University - high reach
-Brown University - high reach
-Yale University (favorite) - high reach
-Berkley - which one?
-NYU - med reach
-Penn State University - low/med reach
-USC - med/high
-Williams College - idk
-UNC - med/high

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/819957-ill-chance-you-back-even-if-you-insult-me.html</a></p>

Maybe you’ll get in at penn state… just realize that a lot of the schools you are submitting to are reaches for people with PERFECT gpas and PERFECT sats… you probably need to aim lower.

http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/820193-chance-columbia-u-cc-ed-class-14-a.html</a>

please chance me back!

They’re all reaches for you. IDK about penn state.

i like sarcastic posts haha, because i see all of the people who honestly reply, thinking that you’re being serious.

go to penn state, its a match

you have pretty much no shot at any of these schools except Penn Sate, you listed schools that are reaches for people with PERFECT gpa and PERFECT sat scores! you need to aim lower.

chance me back!

what is ■■■■■?

Thank you for your comments everyone. I may try to raise my scores

try adding some safety schools like some more state schools, most fo the schools on these list are reaches
