WHAT DO YOU GUYS THINK? DO I HAVE A CHANCE? IF NOT, WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND I DO?

help

Well. Don’t freak out. Here’s a few tips on Rutgers University, because I have family there. Your gpa is your weakest point. but that could be okay if you get really good test scores. If you can’t recover your GPA, try and get to the equivalent of a 28 ACT on your SAT. For most schools, any standardized test is required. Good luck, good for essays, good employment experiences.

thanks! when i say SAT optional, i mean they don’t require any type of standardized test scores and in place ask for a graded academic paper to be sent to them (which i think i’m okay about, i’ve always done pretty well with papers).

of the schools i know about i think you sound fairly typical. sat scores do matter even when it’s sat optional though…i’ve heard of cases where average sat scores got someone in to the schools where they submitted them but the ones where they didn’t they were denied. maybe 'cause schools think they have something to hide?
i’ll read your essay if you still want people to, too.
