I know I am not completely stellar. I’m probably pretty average, but I just want a good enough spark to get me in there.

other schools I am applying to: Georgetown(probably a reach), George Washington University, in-state schools (very secure in) Emory University, Rice(should I? or should I not?), Boston College, was also thinking about Syracuse due to great business connections…

I’m more career-focused than the name tbh. I want to end up becoming a forensics pathologist, which requires med school, so I don’t know if I should be tearing my hair out now…orrrrrrrrrrrrrr I want to do finance/international relations.

I did get one C junior year (BC Calc) which I am retaking and will be done with around October.

Sorry for the bad format!

So how many aps did u take in total? How many hours? Act score? Ap exam scores? Clubs exactly?

Don’t apply as Asian, apply as white. The Asian pool is EXTREMELY competitive

Georgetown is a very hard school to get into. My school has a lot of trouble getting students in. We had 1 this year.

Bc is easy to get into, you will get in. My cousin got accepted and she is average(btw, you r not average, the average American gets a 1500 on sat

8 or 9 AP’s, probably 300+ for Chinese School, 150+ for UNICEF Club, and maybe 20 hours for Save the Children? And I have gotten a 4 on AP world, don’t know about the rest yet. But I know for sure I passed AP English with at least a 4 and AP US with a 5. AP Physics was very difficult. And I did not take the ACT. Clubs are whatever is listed. Can you also give me some advice about Emory?

sorry sorry. I have only taken 4 AP tests so far, the 8 or 9 are alll the AP classes that I will have taken by senior year.

You have some very very competitive schools on your list, good to have reaches, but you have to have safeties that you can see yourself attending. Don’t get your heart set on any one school, admissions is too unpredictable when it is holistic, as it is at most privates.

@ryan2000 Lol. I got accepted to UGA, UCLA, USC, UMich, and NYU this past spring and got rejected from BC. I definitely wouldn’t say it’s “easy” to get into…
