What are my chances of getting in as an astronomy major at UT and an engineering major at Texas A&M with second choice in physics?
my GPA is 3.6 and 49 credit hours
I've written pretty good essays (3)

as for extracurricular activities: Ill have to look but many hours of tutoring at local elementary schools, and several hours as an usher at my church. I know its not the best EC

I'm currently taking Trig and physics. Also I took a solar system class last semester and got an A

And i'm a texas resident. Thanks!

Trig and physics huh? … For engineering you’ll need calculus based physics (University Physics) PHYS 2425 I think.
