What were your AP scores on Chemistry, Biology, Language and History? Which non AP courses did you take in junior year and what were your grades on them?

Penn requires you to submit all scores for both SAT and ACT.

You say you started a nonprofit organization. I assume it’s a 501(c)(3). Did you write articles of incorporation and bylaws? Do IRS paperwork, documents for state sales tax exemption (if applicable), state registration (and, if necessary, posting of bond to fundraise), and necessary local registration? Are you handling the tax forms, including the 990? How did you recruit your board? You should have answers to all of these questions.

Thanks for the reply guys, it means a lot.
commandbutton: I will!
perazziman: do AP scores factor into college admissions? Chem-3 :frowning: Bio-3 :frowning: lang-5 history-4.
Junior year:
AP bio-90
AP calc-90
AP lang-93
band-96
history-84
spanish-92
Wordworker: i am in the process of getting registered as an actual nonprofit organization. hopefully i can get that squared away and have some answers. who would require this information?

Applicants are not required to take AP courses. However, APs are considered one of the best predictors of success by admissions staff at top universities. so yes they will factor them, if you give them this information. Infact, I believe AP scores are now asked for on the Common Application.

Maybe nobody will ask. But you might end up talking with somebody from admissions or a faculty member who is knowledgable about this. Also, some students decide to start a nonprofit with no idea of the work involved. (We’ve had a few on this website.) Congratulations on your willingness to jump through all the hoops. Your music activities are terrific, and I really hope you get into a school you like.
