Please chance me

So. . . I'm new to this, so I guess I'll just get to the point. I applied ED and I'm kind of freaking out as decision day approaches. Any opinions?

About me:
4.0 unweighted in a very competitive class (school doesn't weight so I don't know)
I'm in the top 5% last I checked.
ACT compsite: 30
English: 32
Math: 29 (weird because I'm in adv. Calc)
Reading: 31
Science: 29 (also weird because I'm great at science)
I've taken the most rigorous courses my school offers.
I'm in several clubs, and have lots of service experience, so I think I'm good in that aspect.
I am trilingual. My mom is French and my dad is half German/half English, and I speak German and French fluently.
I visited Kenyon, but didn't have an interview.
I want to be a biology major (maybe biochem but that sounds rather distasteful).
My 4 recommendations should be pretty good, by the way.

But anyway, I've been thinking I was out of my mind thinking I could even compete in admission at Kenyon, for my essays (at least in my opinion) were not the strongest (one was pretty generic), and my ACT score was somewhat sub par.

I know writing and English are very big at Kenyon, but what do you think of me in my current standing? Is admission even feasible?

PS: I'm applying from Arkansas if geography makes any difference.

As an ED applicant, I think you should have a fairly good chance with good recommendations and extracurriculars.
Weak essays might hurt you, but if they were decent, you should be alright in my opinion. Good luck!!

Thanks so much :)

My essays were not exactly as atrocious as I made them sound. The perfectionist in me is always underestimating myself. I guess I’ll just have to wait until Friday to see what Kenyon thinks. . .

you’re GPA is really strong and your scores are actually right at average. They probably will not help your chances, but they certainly will not hurt them either. Though I wouldn’t suggest sending in four recommendations it doesn’t make you look accomplished; it makes you look desperate. Also you need at least one good essay. Don’t worry about what other people write, worry about conveying who you are in 500 words or less and write about what something that’s relevant to you, not something that looks good to colleges (ex. I wrote one of my essays on dying my hair and everyone says it’s amazing)

Remember you are more than the sum of your stats! Show interest, show you are passionate about something, and give it your best shot.

As an ED applicant, I would be surprised if you were not accepted.
