<p>i got 2030(c680/m740/w610) in sat 1 in nov 2007, and i am taking another one in Dec this year. Hopefully get about 2200( c700 m800 w700)</p>

i came to America for high school in jan this year.</p>
<p>senior courses: ap bio, ap calculus, anthropology, english 12, expository writing, american history</p>
<p>i came here in january 2008. i can not take ap gov or ap american history this year because i needed to take american history before.
and my school offered only ap cal, ap bio, ap gov, ap American history, ap lit, ap Eng, ap spanish and as french
can it be an reason for my week courses?</p>

<p>I don't know exactly, but I'll tell you what I think. If you can get your SAT up to 2200 like you said, that would help. I don't think your ECs are bad like you said. I think that being a first generation college student could help you a lot, but I don't know for sure. Like the person said above, not applying for financial aid definitely doesn't hurt! Is that GPA on a 4 point scale? Because if so that's really great. And schools definitely take into account how many APs your school offers, and since you have only been there for a few semesters, they couldn't expect you to take all of them.</p>

my school uses 4 for A and 4.3 for A+ in regular and honor classes
and 5 and 5.3 in ap classes.
since i did not have any ap classes in junior year because i came in the middle of the year the school did not allow me to take aps
my grades are A+,A+,A+,A+,A,A-</p>
