GPA?

Though I would say you have big chance getting into the school. Though I was bit curious that your grade is actually kinda going down giving to the detail you provided. Be careful with that one.

Looks pretty good from here, very good chance though we have no idea what will happen in your senior year, your essays, or you recs so it’s still tentative. Like soundwave said, don’t keep this trend up regarding your gpa… Unis want to see improvement, not deterioration.

Unfortunately your grades are going to be an issue. Tbh I don’t think you have a good chance, but who ever really knows…Test scores and ecs are better so maybe you can make an app that compells them to overlook that

The thing is, it will depend more on his AP course scores in junior year (his 8 AP exams). The rigour of getting As and Bs depends on the school, so if he can pull of a majority of 5s, and with more ECs, good essay, good recs, in addition with his outstanding SAT scores (which is way higher than the average which gets into WashU), then he has a very good chance imo.

^ never heard of that before. Most colleges don’t even look at ap scores since they’re mostly only self reported

Not if he gets an official score report from AP… I mean he’s taking at the end of junior year. AP official scores come out in like July… he has a lot of time before he apply to unis to send those scores.

Good chances. Don’t lose hope.
