SFS is very difficult.

My obesrevations about Gtown:

They favor kids educated in Jesuit schools. They are the leading Catholic university. They have a mandate to edcuate Catholic kids and are reminded of that by the Vatican, surely.

They favor kids with true 'service' spirits (a la tlaktan)

They favor kids with 4.0 GPA (they have not admitted anyone with less than a 4.0 from Ss former elite private hs)

SFS has a number of diplomat/intl celebrity admits which skew the stats. It is very very tough for most BWRKS.

As long as she keeps that in mind, no reason not to apply.

Here's my story about SFS. A good friend arrived at Gtwon on the first day of school in the 1960s. The car was crammed with stuff and her two parents. They drove from the midwest. As they pulled into the parking lot, a big red headed kid stopped them and leaned his head into the car.

"Hi! I'm Bill Clinton and I'm president of the sophomore class!"

Friend went on to serve on the Student Council with Clinton.
