so i have to decide what i want to do this summer. i have two options:
1. i can take an internship at an engineering firm in my town. it would be a really great experience and colleges would really like it, but i would have to work full time for the whole summer
or
2. i can go to notre dame for three weeks and do an engineering program there that wouldn't look as good for colleges, but would require less of my time.

what do you guys think????

You should do the internship.

do number one! interships rule. sounds like an opportunity one should not pass up.

that's just my 2 cents, though lol. really, you should do what you want. if you feel as though you want some time to chill out this summer, then do the summer program for 3 wks then chill. it's up to you.

the intership does sound really cool, though.

yeah i think it sounds great, but i'm worried that i'll get like halfway through the summer and realize i hate engineering or something and then i'd be stuck!

thanks so much for the input guys!
