LONG but please read :)

At the moment, I have 2 great concrete opportunities for this summer. A small background. Im a sophomore studying Information Technology at a pretty small university & love it so far!

Here are my options:

A 6 week internship in a program in Pennslyvania (Carnegie Mellon) this summer. Pro's housing/food/travel paid for and a $2,000 stipend. BIG PRO: When graduate school time comes around, I'd get the chance of free tuition plus small stipend at partner school which is also in my top 3 graduate school list. All students i know who participated in the program were accepted to the graduate program.

biggest pro is academic future

BIGGEST CON: Would have to cut vacation short by 2 weeks. I havent been home (Kenya) in 8 years and will be my first time since coming to the U.S. total trip time planned is about 4 weeks & tickets already purchased....

A 10 week DREU Program (google it) opportunity at Washington University St. Louis. Pretty good pay ($6,000). CON: find own housing/unfamiliar territory. Never done research in computer field (my programming skills are lacking) this is mostly fear that I KNOW i can get over...

plan to go to graduate school. research will always be helpful

POSSIBLE Opportunity: Applied through INROADS and interviewing with BIG FOUR: DELOITTE today afternoon. Hoping this works out. Obviously great opportunity with a great company. PRO: closer to home. CON: find housing but wont be as hard as St. Louis since I know people in the area job is being offered.

What would you do in this situation? Lets take the first two concrete opportunities?
If you'd like you can add the third but its up in the air at the moment.

I have more detailed reasons BUT will spare you unless you want to hear more.

Feel free to ask questions! :)

Thanks
