Please help! AA HS Student

Hi everyone,
I am going to graduate High School with an AA at the same time. Only problem is if I don't get accepted in the first step as a freshman, I won't have all the pre requisites for my major as a normal transfer. What should I do? Should I switch my major after I get rejected from the first round to something with easier pre requisites that I have like History or Statistics and switch to my intended major(Cell Biology) when I get there? UF is my dream guys. Please help me out

I always thought you needed pre reqs for your major whether you are accepted as a freshman or transfer. I graduated with my AA and was accepted as a freshman though.

Call admissions and ask.

I am a high school student with AA as well and got accepted for fall 2013, however I got rejected by mistake at first because they did not see that I finished all my prereqs. So if you are still able to switch majors, I would but I do not know how easy it would be to switch back.

High School/AA students normally have a bit more flexibility than actual transfer students about things like major changes. You are really going to need to go through the process to find out how much leeway you are going to get and if it is needed.
