<p>I've never taken a class at De Anza before and I need to take an anatomy course at De Anza for the summer, but when trying to add myself to the waitlist, it says "waitlist failed, no waitlist available". </p>
<p>Is there anyway I can add this class by showing up on the first day? Please help!</p>
<p>I don't go to De Anza but most CC classes will let you add the class with an add card by showing up the first day.</p>
<p>Anatomy is one of the most sought after summer classes at De Anza (along with Chem and Bio). Pay a visit to the counseling office to see if there is anything that you can do. There might not be any waitlist spots available (might all be taken).</p>
<p>Do all CCs offer waitlists? I don't think mine even has one...</p>
<p>I believe something like that happened to me before. The reason was that a wait list can apparently only be so long. So in your case the wait list might be maxed out too.</p>

<p>I went to De Anza(past 2 years), and if you try to "crash" the course by talking to the professor you will probably be able to add. Don't go to the counseling offfice that will do nothing, go talk to the professor and wait around in that class for a couple days. It's probably that people will drop, especially in summer sessions, and you'll get in. I've never not been able to get into a course that way, and I've taken many courses.</p>

<p>Thanks everyone for your help, I really appreciate it. I found out that there were 10 people on the waitlist (I have no idea how many people are already enrolled in the class). Not sure if my chances look great, but I'm going to cross my fingers and stick it out. </p>

<p>Math + Science classes at De Anza are pretty whack, most students go to Foothill for it.</p>

<p>Yes, De Anza splits it up into 2 classes, thats why a lot of people go to Foothill if they got placed into Math 49A. Math 49 at Foothill satisfy both 49A+49B</p>

Hope next quarter is easier to get classes. I woke up at 5AM for my reg time for De Anza and 49B was full lol</p>

<p>so basically if i don't get in 1 class from now on, my schedule is f'ed as i heard taking 5 classes/quarter isn't fun. and after i do these classes, my pre-reqs/igetc will be fufilled. i'm thinking about trying to add ACCT1A @ 6pm today. I will have a 3hr gap between classes; bleh 2 hrs to decide.</p>
