Please help: Boston College Honors or Tufts

I've narrowed my choices to Boston College Honors in CAS vs Tufts. I am interested in development economics, international relations, and micro financing. I don't plan to go to grad school right after graduation so I am placing some emphasis on their career placement services. I realize the school's atmosphere are at opposite poles but I can see myself fit into either school. Does BC honors carry more weight in getting interships and my first job upon graduation vs Tufts?

I know that Tufts is known for its IR program.

Tufts!!! go there absolutely

BC honors! There are always great opportunities for honors students and advantages off campus. What do the finances look like cost-wise?

For your interests: Tufts. Tufts has the premier IR program of its kind and it also has the largest microfinance fund in the country. (The Omidyar fund)

I agree with tufts. It's an amaazing school and it looks like it has what you're looking for.

Tufts! I fell in love with the school, but i got a full ride to my state school and couldn't afford the cost differential because of grad/law schol plans. But in your circumstances Tufts sounds like the better choice of the two.

Thank you Sungchul. It looks like I will be heading to Tufts this fall. I agree that it is a better fit for me. I appreciate your quick response.

Thank you all for your replies. I agree with you, Relampago, that BC honors is a great program with unique advantages and it is hard to turn it down. However, it looks like Tufts does have a strong IR program and matches my long term goals.

Thank you for your inputs and best of luck to you all!!

no problem! good luck at tufts, it's an amazing school
