what are your overall grades like?

3.2 overall GPA but 3.5 uc/CSU GPA

The fact is that the D is pulling down your GPA. In Florida you are allowed to take certain courses for a second time to get credit recovery. This will allow your D to become an A. If you have an option like that then that is highly recommended.
I wish you the best of luck.

on the UC application there is no slot to self-report PE classes (you have to self-report your classes and then submit your transcript if you get in)–so i’m thinking you have nothing to worry about
the only thing that would mess you up is your GPA–i think they typically look for students who have a GPA a few points higher
