I can't afford the college application fees, but since I'm homeschooled, I can't get a NACAC fee waiver from my counselor. For all the schools I've applied to, I've just selected "Other Fee Waiver" and included a note in the Additional Information section explaining why I can't pay.

However, George Washington doesn't have this option!!!! What should I do? I've already called and left a message, and sent an email, but I'm worried they won't get back to me in time.

If you’ve both called them and emailed them, give them a day or so and then ask again. Can you also call again during business hours, or are they sending all calls to voice-mail?

Can you call today, or are they still rolling over to messages? And are you able to submit the application without the fee? If you can do that, submit the app and the supplement, and as long as you had the emails in, you should be fine. If the main number doesn’t work, and you are not able to submit the app without the fee first, just make sure you have a email in to your regional admissions counselor. Work to get it done, but don’t worry-- GWU /wants/ you application.

Thank you so much for your help! I did keep calling them and eventually I was able to talk to someone, who told me to just select “NACAC fee waiver” but not actually fill one out.
