<p>Currently going to college prep-school in IL. (Competetive private school)</p>
<p>Transferred as a junior (previously went to public school), because my parents' visa expired and could not legally go to public school any more. </p>
<p>I came here as a high school freshman and worked really hard to get into good colleges in the future.</p>

<p>4.0/4.0 freshman
4.0/4.0 sophomore (when i was in public school)</p>
<p>When I transferred to private school, the grading system was different because maximum GPA was 4.33 (due to A+).</p>
<p>I'm probably going to get 3.8~3.9 in my junior year.
Senior year: about same as junior year.</p>
<p>Standerdized test: I just got 30 on my first ACT. Thinking about taking prep courses and raising it up to 32 or 33. I'm working on SAT, too. When I take practive tests, I get like 2000~2100. </p>
<p>EC: My ECs are pretty good. I'm really into singing.
I'm in choir. I am also in special school program where we pick 9~10 students to sing. I'm also a singer of MIC (Music Institute of Chicago). My MIC choir is planning to sing in Carnegie hall on March. </p>
<p>I go volunteering 3~4 hrs/ week. I've been doing this from the start of my sophomore year.</p>
<p>I have numerous awards from math team, science olympiad, business club competition, school awards, /.....etc (sorry it seems like im boasting but im not).</p>
<p>I worked in Chicago board of trade for 2 months during summer because I knew someone work there. It was really a huge opportunity in my life. </p>
<p>Model UN went to two conferences.( @ northwestern and U of Chicago) (no awards though).</p>
<p>Do I have any chances going to the schools I previously mentioned????</p>
