Hi,

I'm a fairly good student who got into UCLA and UC Berkeley. I didn't apply anywhere else because I can't really leave California.
UCLA would be incredibly convenient for me, but could I get into Harvard or Columbia Law (granted I did super well) if I went to UCLA?
I've heard the difference between UCLA and UCB (in prestige) is pretty big.

Thanks in advance for any advice.

yes, you can get in

People from UCR get into Harvard Law, it just takes a lot of effort and a solid GPA. Actually I would imagine UCLA might be better for it overall since its less troublesome on your GPA, and also is internationally known as a good school.

Thanks!

And is UCLA really easier than Berkeley?
I didn't know that...

UCLA is not easier than Berkeley. Maybe minutely, but not enough to have a significant impact on your chances for getting into Law School. Just go where ever you are happiest.

Of the students currently enrolled at Harvard Law School, 48 went undergrad at UC Berkeley and 39 went to UCLA.

Go wherever you want because it won't really make a difference. If I were in your position, I would go to Berkeley.
