Please help me choose my college

Ok, I've been accepted to a few schools now, and I just can't decide where to go.

Background: Somewhat average student, competitive debater, interests in pursuing law in the future. Plan to major in Business Economics/Business Admin for undergrad, then go to grad after a few years of work. I live in California, and don't qualify for much financial aid, yet have no money so I'll be paying with loans.

I've been accepted to University of Arizona, Arizona State, San Jose State, Sonoma State

I really like the feel of University of Arizona, plus the business rank is 24th in the nation, which is amazing. But it's expensive, about 26,000 per year since I'm out of state.

I can't figure out what I want to do. Please give me some thoughts.

San Jose and University of Arizona, both are good. How much loans will you have to take for San Jose ?

About 18,000 per year
I’ve heard that San Jose is overall better, but the business program and Sonoma is better than that at San Jose

Total debt after all four years at each school?

In general it would be unwise to take on more than Stafford loan debt for the school needed to complete a bachelor’s degree. This is especially true if you want to go to expensive law school in the future (and you need very high GPA and LSAT scores to get into a top law school, since the law job market is very law school prestige conscious, with graduates of non-top law schools having difficulty getting jobs that will pay off their law school debt).

I’d go to one of the CSUs: the greater financial cost of Arizona (plus don’t forget travel expenses) isn’t worth the loans. Either CSU is good.

If you want to live in California after college, it would be wise to go to school there. You will make a lot of contacts through internships, profs, etc., especially in business.
