<p>okay so a curious question a lot of people told me that geology is mainly memorizing is it true? or it got another stuuff to cover ps: I LOVE MATHS!! and i am okay with chemistry. and if you dont have a problem answering what do you work now with your geology degree? and did u specialie in anything? @whenhen </p>
<p>For the first year, yes it’s a lot of memorization. After the first couple of courses the memorization gradually switches into application type problems. If you enjoy math, you should look into geophysics which heavily employs quantatative observations and analysis. </p>
<p>As I am a current UG, I only work at a fast food job, a driver for my school’s geology department, and as a volunteer greeter for visiting professors. I may minor in math although that’s still up in the air. </p>
