please help me decide my major!

hello, im from illinois and currently a senior in high school. i will be graduating soon and attending college however, im not quite sure what to major in. let me go into to detail about my interests. ever since i was a little kid i loved animals especially fish i've always had exotic pets like snakes, lizards, turtles, fish and birds my whole life. in fact i even work at my local pet store (not petco or petsmart it only sells fish and reptiles you have to know what your talking about to work there). i took biology, chemistry, honors physics and A.P environmental science in high school. my grades in these classes were

biology: A both semesters
chemistry: A first semester C second semester (i had a horrible teacher who only put 4 things in the grade book first semester)
honors physics: C both semesters (not very good with math /: )
A.P environmental science: currently an A (by far my favorite class ive ever taken)
my G.P.A is currently a 2.4 but im not finished with school yet so im going to try my hardest to bring that up to a 3.0
my ACT score: 22 i scored really high in science and reading
i also am taking a dual credit english course where i get credits at my local community college and A.P economics and A.P government. i did not do well in government and economics because i was going through a difficult time in my life and i wasnt going to school during these periods. but thats all fixed now!

i would like to study something that involves animals and the environment. i was thinking of majoring zoology or enviromental science or in biology: biodiversity, ecology and evolutionary biology EEB for short i think. can someone tell me what i can do job wise with these majors? also can someone tell me if majoring in EEB and minoring in environmental studies and then getting my masters in environmental science is a good idea? or would it be better to get my masters in zoology? im planning on attending the university of kansas. my fall back school is southern illinois university. my dream profession would be working in an aquarium in whatever city but, im open to working anywhere that involves animals. would these majors help me secure a job in this field? does anyone have either one of these degrees? if yes what do you do for a living? please help me out for some reason im stressing about this.

p.s. i do not want to be a vet.

Very few colleges expect you to drill into a major at this point, you know. You’re free to enroll and explore.

However, the most glaring thing I see in your post is this: "my G.P.A is currently a 2.4 but im not finished with school yet so im going to try my hardest to bring that up to a 3.0 "

If your cumulative GPA is 2.4, even if you get straight As this semester, your culm GPA by time of college applications will only be 2.6. That severely limits your college choices. Focusing on a major should not be your concern. It’s getting into a college where you’ll turn around your HS academic performance to date. Your easy excuses for your Physics, chem and math grades does not bode well for a future major in anything STEM related. Please make an appt w/your guid counselor to discuss this.

Best of luck to you

I would suggest Marine Biology based off

Your interest in fish and other animals.especially because of fish and aquatic animals
