I'm a junior in high school and I am currently looking to expand my list of colleges that I should plan on applying to. The problem I have is that the major/profession I plan on venturing into is far from common.

Basically, I want to take a course that will allow me to learn how to record/produce music while learning the business side/management side. For example, this course offered at USC is exactly what I'm looking for -
"Music Industry
Overview
The USC Thornton music industry program is geared toward students who are interested in practical knowledge regarding a rapidly evolving industry that is largely based in the Los Angeles area. It offers a unique education that blends music, business, academics and hands-on experience for those that seek a career in artist management, the record industry, music publishing, radio, music instrument manufacturing and distribution, professional songwriting, live promotion and production, arts management and other areas of the music industry."

These are the schools I plan on applying to: University of Southern California, University of the Pacific, California Lutheran University, DePaul University (Chicago, IL), and Berklee College of Music (Boston, MA). Because my major is not common/hard to find, my list is quite short.

I would prefer to stay near where I live, which is Las Vegas, NV. The majority of the listed schools are located in California because I think it would be the perfect location, considering LA is the center of the recording industry scene.

I am not too worried about GPA or SAT scores. My GPA is exceptional (4.0) and I have yet to take my SAT.
As for now, I am not considering the tuition/school activities or sports. I am just hoping to compile a large list, so that when it comes to application time, I have a large selection.

If you can help me, that would be greatly appreciated!
