Please help me, q about SAT

Hi everyone, I am applying for fall 2010 and I would be grateful if anyone could answer my questions since I have no clue what to do (the registrar office hasnt replied yet either).

1) Can I give Sat 1 in November 2009 or is October' 09 the last month in which I can give the sat?

2) I am doing GCE-A levels so do I need to give Sat 2?

Cheers

You do not need SAT 2s for UF. They are nice to have, but not required for admissions.

The A levels are consider the same as AP exams, it can be a pain to get the scores to UF. Cambridge sent them DHL and then UF logged them into the mail system then couldn’t find them. We finally faxed them to the office. They don’t want to deal with A levels scores until you are admitted.

Everything must be in by Nov 1. You can send updates but you must have everything by the deadline.

Exam Scores Due in Admissions Office
SAT or ACT Required December 31

This is what I found, can anyone please verify?

Thanks for replying.
I believe that early action requires me to send the score by November 1st? If I apply for regular decision, will my admission chances be hurt?
I gave the Sat in June '09 and I got 1710 (which is not even worth sending to them).

So guys what should I do? Give the Sat in October or November?

Florida doesn’t have early action, which means you should be able to take both.

Thanks IntangibleGator. I am totally exhausted from the admission process and I have started panicking over trivial issues (example: this thread) but now I have a glimmer of hope.

Cheers

So I can take them @ later dates (oct, nov, dec) as long as I have them in by december? I’m confused. :(

You can take them later, yes. right now fro admissions you just need to fill out your application and submit it. Your SAT scores can be sent by dEcember 31st, and everything is okay.
