<p>please can you tell me if there are any textbooks required for chem 1211? it doesnt show any book except lab manual on barnes and noble site, but i have a feeling there is a textbook, because there is lecture for this class??</p>
<p>and i was also wondering if we need a TI-89 for math 1501 (Calc I) or we can use TI-84? Thank you very much in advance.</p>
<p>Don’t worry about the book if it isn’t showing up. If you are really that stressed out about it, email the professor. If there is a book it will be announced by the professor/in the syllabus on the first day of classes. You will be given time to get it before any tests/quizes.</p>
<p>If you are going to buy a calculator, get a TI-89. However, calculators are not usually allowed to be used on math tests/quizzes. They can be helpful for homework and upper level classes though. Physics classes require a scientific calculator.</p>
