<p>I am currently a junior going to high school in New Jersey. My grades were a 3.3 unweighted and a 4.25 weighted for freshman year with all honors classes but one D. I was ranked 211/2060. Sophomore year, I moved to New Jersey and my grades suffered horribly. I had a 2.0 unweighted and a 3.56 weighted with my rank being 214/480. These were mostly honors classes. (The freshman rank was ranked out of the whole school and the second one was ranked out of my grade only) Currently, I am on pace for a 2.8 GPA with my weighted being around 3.7. I would be ranked in the upper 30% of the class, but my cumulative GPA would be around a 2.5-2.6. I got a 1900 on my SATS and I have one year of Tennis. I am taking two AP classes and I think I can pull off a 4 on both of them. I play guitar for my church but have little other EC. With these stats, do you think I can get into Rutgers New Brunswick???? PLEASE HELP!</p>
<p>I got in with a 3.2 weighted GPA (No idea what unweighted would be) and 1770 SAT. So I would say yes you could get in. Just keep your grades up next year.</p>
<p>What college are you applying to? SAS looks like a reasonable possibly. Try taking the SATs again in June and bringing them up another 100 points. A score over 2000 might offset a bit of the GPA.</p>
