<p>my gpa unweighted is 3.1 and my weighted is 3.4 i have 10 honors 1 ap class under my belt. i have an sat score of 1650 but it will improve. my highschool only gives out weighted gpa but still rutgers will see my transcript which is pretty average at best / im asian male</p>

<p>They don’t accept every in stater. I have friends who have not taken honors classes through junior year and had 1650 on sat and was rejected. Maybe it was their rigor of schedule and lack of taking honors classes? I’m quite nervous considering I have an almost identical unweighted gpa as my friend. The only thing I’m banking on my rigor of schedule. </p>
<p>Rigor of schedule and ECs will help. Try to get up your SAT and GPA- being anxious is understandable. As Rutgers’ reputation goes up, they are getting more selective. </p>
