Please help!! Need advice

Hello!

I am seeking some advice..

I'd like to start out by saying that I am a sophomore in high school and want to go to West Point or the Air Force Academy. A good civilian university is still an option though not 100% on a service academy. (Thinking UChicago, Duke, Stanford)

Here's the problem...

This week I was elected to the executive board for NHS and Student Council, secretary for NHS and Public Relations for Student Council. I for sure am keeping the NHS position but I'm not so sure I have time for student council. I am a 3 sport varsity athlete and will be a captain of for sure 2, maybe 3 of these sports. I am ranked 3/622 in my class and take all honors and APs. I put in tons of volunteer hours at a hospital and teaching Sunday school at my church. I lettered in FCA and am a Link Crew leader. I play AAU basketball in the spring and summer and am in my schools's top band. Yet to take ACT/SAT but will take them very seriously and keep taking them until I get atleast a 34 ACT and 2250 SAT.

Do I need to take on another leadership position in student council or am I doing enough without it to get into West Point or Air Force? I really don't know if it would be feasible with my sports to do it, but if I'm not doing enough to get into these schools then I will try to make it work.

ANY feedback would help a lot, thanks in advance!

bumpppp…
