Please help - schedule planning

@MYOS1634 Good point. I’ll stick with Environmental.

@ab2002 I agree with a lot of others here. Even if AP Stats is considered a bit “easier” compared to other APs, you are also taking regular Chemistry, and therefore, I think AP Environmental Science is a better choice than AP Physics 1. Taking AP Environmental Science will only help you.

I think this schedule is perfect! You’re in an honors level 4 foreign language, pre-calculus honors, two AP electives, and two core APs. Good luck!

Have a good day!

AP Bio, Vandy is competitive, so take hard classes to show you can handle the courseload while getting high grades.

@MYOS1634 @anthonytheboy Do you think this courseload relates to Poli. Sci.? I have AP Lang, APUSH, and AP Stats.

Yes. In fact, there are now college classes where statistics and data analysis is applied to Poli sci. (look up SODA at Penn State for an example of this - note that it’s just one program I happen to know, there are others! But it does give you an idea of how stats and polisci can work together).

@ab2002 All of your APs relate to your desired major, so you should be fine!

Have a good day!

@Savage101 Hey man, I just saw this, I am planning on taking a similar schedule to what you did, except AP Chem AP Physics 1, and AP Calc AB Senior year along with 2 other AP’s. How was the mighty trio of the three hardest AP’s? Were you able to sleep / have time for college apps and scholarships. How was the studying workload?

@Fauxgaffe

I am currently in AP Chem, AP Physics C (both meh and E@M), AP latin, and Calc BC. It honestly depends on the difficulty of your school and your teachers. I am usually able to get to bed at aroung 10 every night with the occasional 11-12 studying. This is because, in my school, AP latin is easy to do well in without actually knowing much :slight_smile: and AP Calc BC is not bad for me because I already did AB. For me, AP Chem really isn’t that difficult (the night before the unit I cram and get mostly A’s and high B’s). But I think Physics C is HARD.

Some people can handle those classes, others cannot. Since I don’t know your grades, I cannot tell if you would be able to do well. But I think f you’re motivated, you get through.
