My school forms: counselor and teachers' recommendations were mailed to UVA in the beginning of December. I am preparing on-line Common Application and in the School Forms section it says:
Please report the names of the school officials who will be completing your Secondary School Report and Teacher Evaluation forms. If they have an email address, they will receive an email inviting them to send your recommendations online or via mail, whichever they prefer. You may start the process by clicking on the Invite button below. Please note that this is a required step before you will be able to submit your application.

They already completed letters of recommendations and mailed them. What should I do in this section? How can I submit my application? Should I still list my counselor and teachers. If I list them, will they have to submit my recommendations online again?

The same thing happened to me I think. I emailed UVA and William and Mary and they said that a recommendation letter was fine and that they didn’t have to submit online. I still submitted my application, but I did list my counselor and the teacher but didn’t provide an e-mail address so they are just listed as offline providers and should be expected to arrive by paper anyways.

I had submitted the application before I received the reply, and I provided the teachers’ e-mails, though the teachers’ recommendations were mailed by the counselor. Do I need to do anything? Should I call or send an e-mail to the addmission office explaining that I provided the e-mail addresses by mistake, and that the teachers should be off-line providers and that the recommendations are enclosed in the package mailed by the counselor?
