I have applied to some universities through Common App, so my transcripts are already on the site. I wondering if there is a way to apply to BU by sending in a paper application instead of the application from common app, the reason being that I want to apply for a different major to BU, different from the other schools that I applied through common app, and my personal statement is 70% about the major that I applied to those schools.

Can I do this? It’s just easier to tell them to get my transcripts and recommendation + fee of the application from common app than to have to speak to my counselor again and request him to send in the forms separately.

In the BU Supplement…it asks you what “School or College and program of application” you can then check the school/college and program of your choice, and it can be different from what you entered on the the common app where it asks your major for all of the colleges.

I just checked my own supplement to be sure. good luck!

you can create a different version in the common app and then move BU or any other school to the new version. Go the common app and search for the way to do it. It is easy.
