Please look! Standby testing, has anyone ever been rejected?

I know the basics of standby testing (registration form, arrive early, blah blah blah), but i'm still worried that I won't get in.

I hope to take the test at a fairly big H.S. (either big or medium leaning to big).

1.I'm hoping to arrive at 7, is that early enough?

2.Has anyone ever got rejected from standby if you were one of the top on the list (1-10)?

3.What are the odds that i'll get rejected?

4.Will I be able to take the test on time? Because CB says that i'd have to wait until every registered person gets in before I can go.... that will leave me barely any time to fill out all the information and stuff! I don't want to be rushing in the test!

5.I took the test before at the same school in March, there weren't that many people "I don't think". Do you think that that's a good indicator that I might get in?

6.Some people said that they didn't have to wait for registered students to get in; that they just talked to the person in charge and took it. What REALLY happens in there?

I'm sorry for all the questions... i'm just really worried about this and want to get if over with... so if you could answer my questions i'd be in forever debt to you.

Thanks.

I went to USC in may to take SAT IIs, and was rejected along with 2 classmates, although it was Sunday, so that may have an effect.

1.Try to get an application beforehand, its just more convenient. I got an app from the administrator, and was filling it out while waiting to get in.
2. What list? The center I went to had no list. My GC had contact with another test center, but the GC said that place was full, so I had to gamble with going to USC.
3. Depends on test center, date, sunday/saturday. I was told to go to the biggest test center I could find, but then again, smaller may be better.
4. You wont have to rush if you have the app filled out, you will be entering just like everyone else.
5. Many many more people take SATs in june, though possibly more take SAT II than SAT. I think either only 300k or 330k people took it march.
6. Depends on the place. At USC, the woman wouldnt let me in until they found out they had no testbooks.

when i went, i got there at 7:30, was first in line, and the lady in charge said i didn't have to wait for all the registered people and i ended up being the first person in the testing room.

bump...cuz i wanna know too...has anyone else gotten rejected?

A day before the test... come one... anyone else have any experience with standby testing?

I plan to be at the school at 7:00, is that too early/late?

Please... PLEASE reply, and thanks in advance

i did standby for the act and got in. The proctors arn't even there at 7 am, when the thing starts at 8 am. I'd get there at about 7:25- 7:30 am

I know someone who got rejected standby for the ACT.

Every standby at the door was rejected. They did not let anybody in the gate
until after 7:45 am.
Only people got to do standby are those
called the fellow "BEFORE" Saturday to "reserve" a space.
I did not know you can reserve a space!
Anyway.
