So I'm just wondering how Rutgers would compare to an ivy specifically in their math and physics departments within the honors college... Apparently, their graduate schools in these departments are ranked in the top 20, and I am just wondering if their in any correlation into the undergrad honors program? Also, what is the typically class size of the honors program? Is their much professor interaction, perhaps moreso than an ivy? And lastly, does undergrad honestly matter that much if one plans to go on to grad school? Also, is the quality of the education for something like maths and physics really that much different from more top ranked schools? BTW, im choosing between an ivy and rutgers full ride

Grad school… like what… be specific

Rutgers is great, but an Ivy’s name might be a little more renowned. Go with the Ivy if they’re both free, unless there is one you clearly like more than the other.

Rutgers has been asked to be an ivy league, if that tells you anything.
