<p>Hello, I am a 15 year old girl of Indian descent, who is extremely interested in matriculating at Phillips Exeter. For some reason, the Harkness table and other things about PEA really clicked with my personality and learning scope. I am from a budding school in New England that has only been around for 6ish years, if I stay, I would be in the fifth graduating class.</p>

<p>-Languages: I am fluent in English, Tamil, and Telugu. I took 5 years of Latin, am taking my third year of French, have been self-studying Korean for two years...can read, write and understand a lot. I realllly love languages a lot, so that is a feature I LOVE about PEA. I blog about languages as well.</p>
<p>-Art/Writing: I love art and have proven myself a lot. I maintain a blog that has my art and writing on it. I also have won numerous awards. I won the state Peace Poster Contest by Lions Club. I have gotten 1st in the town for various categories for many years (Painting, Mixed Media, Drawing). I won a Gold Key in Painting from the Boston Globe Scholastic Art and Writing Awards, and my painting was featured in a New York Art Gallery. I have given art lessons as well before. I really love writing, and that's why I maintain a blog. I have won Writer of the Month various times in middle school, and also I won first pla1ce in the Senior Essay Bee by North South Foundation and was invited to Nationals.</p>
<p>Science:
-Captain of various Science related things (above).
-2nd place in state science bee by North South Foundation, was invited to nationals.
-Semifinalist at state middle school science bowl at UCONN.
-2 year consecutive Anatomy (1st place) gold medalist in State Science Olympiad. In science olympiad state level, I have gotten 6th place in Write it Do it, 2nd place in Solar System, and 4th place in Microbe Mission as well.
-Interned at Tufts University over the summer (5+ weeks; 100+ hours).
-Interned at Boston University two summers ago.
-Did a 2 week internship at an OBGYN's office and talked and interacted with patients and learned a lot. (Can probably get a letter of rec.)</p>
