Hi all! I am int'l applicant from India. I am the first one from my school and family to undergo college app process. I want a few clarifications:[ul]
[] My mid-year marks are already on my transcript which my counselor will submit tomorrow. What will she send in mid-year report? Can she again upload the same transcript. My counselor doesn't seem to know a thing about this.
[li] **I don't know if the transcript she'll be uploading is right or not.[/li][] What are all the required documents to be uploaded on the behalf of me by my school?
[li] Can my counselor attach a .PDF file explaining why I should qualify for a fee waiver?[/ul][/li]I'm sorry for inundating you guys with my bazillion questions. I don't have anyone to help me out here.
So I thought you guys can help me:)
PS: HELP me fast as DEADLINES ARE APPROACHING!! CBSE is a national education board of India. GPA is calculated on a 10 scale for 9th and 10th grade % marks are provided thereafter.

You need to take the responsibility to contact the college admissions people directly yourself. You then need to pass on the requirements to your counselor. If you’re the first in your school to undergo the US system then she won’t know anything more than you.

Indeed, you could email the admissions person at the college your transcript to check- this would also give you the day that they return to the office so you can phone them.

Otherwise, check their website for when the office reopens after Christmas and New Year.

Make sure you’re clear on any other steps in the admission process now as if you leave things too late you won’t have time to sort out any problems.

highland_poppy: I presume your post is directed towards this “My mid-year marks are already on my transcript which my counselor will submit tomorrow. What will she send in mid-year report? Can she again upload the same transcript. My counselor doesn’t seem to know a thing about this.”. right?
That I’ll do.

BUT FIRST OF ALL PLEASE SEE IF MY TRANSCRIPT SAMPLE IS OK???

Danny, just speaking for myself, but when someone tries so hard to get me to click a link, I tend to not do it. Just too many negative possibilities in doing so; not saying yours is bad, but trying to give you an idea of why members may be hesitant to click since you make such a very big deal of it with your urgent, caps, color, bold, etc. (all of which CC frowns upon when used in excess).
