<p>So I am graduation this year. I got into the college I wanted to go to, and everything was fine. But recently, I have been thinking that I picked this college for all the wrong reasons and wish I was going to one of the schools that waitlisted me. I called the school and they said they hadn't closde their waiting list yet, but is it basically hopeless this late in the game? What can I do? ANY suggestions are appreciated! Thank you!!</p>
<p>Take a deep breath and ask yourself if you may be experiencing a common reaction called “buyer’s remorse”. Many students have some rather irrational regrets once the deposit is sent, and the papers signed. </p>
<p>If you have the opportunity to reactivate your place on a waitlist, do so with the understanding that most of those slots are filled, and the chances of a position are slim. Trust your initial decision and remember your happiness is really more about your decision to have a good attitude and taking advantage of the resources your school offers. (As a last resort, you could always consider a transfer app.)</p>
