<p>I am transferring as International Student, however I go to CC in the US. I was accepted to American University (in DC by the way, most of the people doesn't recognize the name, :) with aid that pays half the tuition cost. However, I am patiently waiting to hear from Columbia, Cornell, Georgetown and Stanford. Will share more after the May 15th...</p>

<p>Thanks gobackto2005.. Um.. If you want to apply to Cal as a transfer applicant.. (from a CCC) you wouldn't need SAT/ACT.. :) I am not sure about people from out-of-state or other universities.. and I don't have wonderful scores.. VERY BAD in fact.. Hahaha.. Oh well.. :)</p>

I have waited for a while until I'll have enough info to share with you all.
So here we go:
MIT- rejected.</p>
<p>KU- accepted w/ scholarship (didnt apply for fan aid).
UIUC- accepted.
Columbia GS- accepted.
Wash U.- accepted.</p>
<p>Caltech- ACCEPTED!!! (my first choice)</p>
<p>Pending: Cornell, CMU.
Likely to attend: Caltech...my dream school.</p>

Another thing, it's also important to remember to be realistic about your chances, I hoped for the best scenario (Caltech) but prepared for the worst possible scenario.</p>
